I wanted to take the pictures I removed from the van and add them in our house. The laundry room was the perfect color palette to have them displayed again! I came across these frames at Michael's that were on clearance for $3.99 each, I loved the distressed wood on the outside so I decided to make them work for the space.

I had leftover plywood that I ripped down into 3/4 inch strips for the laundry room sink vanity that I up cycled recently. (Click here for vanity up cycle) I figured if I incorporated these it would tie the space together. So I took those leftover pieces and cut them to the length of the inside of the frames. I needed 12 for each frame so a total of 72 pieces for six frames.

I then arranged them inside the frame, 12 across so that they were spaced as evenly as possible.

Next I used Titebond III my wood glue on all of the slats and put them onto the bird frame. Let this sit for at least 30 minutes untouched.

Lastly I used Gorilla Mounting Tape to secure my pictures directly on top of the wood slats. I also added a small piece to the back of the frames to make sure they don't shift around and stay level!

That's it! A quick little DIY that will be a one of kind picture display!
